Pink Ribbon Partners 2016

Wacoal Hong Kong Company Limited In support of breast cancer awareness and the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF), Wacoal Hong Kong Company Limited (Wacoal Hong Kong) initiates a Pink Month campaign by putting donation boxes and breast self-examination booklets at their stores and franchised counters in October, the international Pink Month. Mr. Ito Tetsuro, Managing Director of Wacoal Hong Kong, presents the donations in person at the HKBCF headquarters to our Vice Chairman, Mrs. Sandra Mak.

 

UBS AG In support of the HKBCF as well as breast cancer awareness, UBS AG hosts its Dress Pink Day on 24th October. A breast health seminar featuring Mrs. Eliza Fok, chairman of the HKBCF, and Dr. Hung Wai Ka, Council Member of the HKBCF, is arranged to share their breast health knowledge and introduce the development of the HKBCF Jockey Club Breast Health Centre (Kowloon).

 

Estee Lauder In October, Estee Lauder launches the Pink Ribbon Initiative event which, through promoting online game on social media, widely spreads blessings for your beloved ones, and encourages ladies to take action together to defeat breast cancer. Estee Lauder has been our long time supporter since 2007.

 

Fairton Sense Limited (SABON) In support of the HKBCF, Fairton Sense Limited (SABON) organizes its charity sale of two Love Your Body promotional sets (Lavender Apple Body Care Set and Anti Aging Face Care Set) in October, part of the sales proceeds of stores in Hong Kong are donated to the HKBCF.

 

KPC Yarn Knitting for a good cause, KPC Yarn, a yarn brand in Hong Kong, joins us as a Pink Ribbon Partner in 2016.  In support of the HKBCF’s breast health education, support services and research & advocacy, part of the sales proceeds of pink yarn and “crochet ribbon” are donated to the HKBCF.

 

Sealy Asia (Hong Kong) Limited Presenting “The Art of Sleep”, Sealy Asia (HK) Limited organizes and hosts its Designer Bed Charity Campaign 2016 in June, at Sealy’s stores. The sales proceeds are donated to the HKBCF.

 

Jones Lang LaSalle Jones Lang LaSalle organises its Urban Relay at the Peak on 13 May 2016. All proceeds are donated to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation.

 

Boutique Beauty Sampling Bar at Cosmoprof Asia Cosmoprof Asia 2016 will introduce the BOUTIQUE project (hand-picked sampling of beauty products) at 16-18 November in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. Participants can customize a box filled with 7 pieces of deluxe travel-sized samples sponsored by exhibitors for a minimum donation of HK$100. Donations collected from the project will go to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation.

 

The Kinnet Wellness centre The Kinnet will launch the charitable Off Peak Pink Walk from 1 to 31 May 2016. You are welcome to join at the Walk by working out either on treadmill, cycling or rowing machines for at least 3.5 km. An enrollment fee of HK$350 is needed and it will be donated to HKBCF. Let’s reduce the risk of breast cancer by doing exercise! In addition, The Kinnet will launch a series of activities in Pink May including breast health talks co-organized with the HKBCF featuring “Early Detection Saves Lives” on 7 and 21 May, a “Pink Healthy Menu” at The Restaurant by The Kinnet, with the proceeds donated to the HKBCF, and a breast health exhibition introducing breast cancer risk factors and breast health knowledge would be displayed at the venue.

 

Mary Kay Big thanks to Mary Kay for becoming our Pink Ribbon Partner for four consecutive years! In support of HKBCF’s breast health education, support services and research & advocacy efforts, and to continue Mary Kay Ash’s pink mission, from 12 May to 30 June 2016, Mary Kay will host a charity sale, in which US$1.00 will be donated to HKBCF for each unit of the limited edition Mary Kay® Hearts Together Lipstick sold.

 

HOPE & LOVE "HOPE & LOVE fashion and live band show" is a fundraising event to be held on 9 April 2016 starting at 7:30pm in Wan Chai. It aims at raising public awareness towards breast cancer. We are thankful to the organizer Ms Rachel Tsang's contribution to HKBCF after deducting the cost and wish the show all the best.
