Steering Committee
The HKBCR is steered by a committee comprised of doctors, professionals from the legal, business management and public health fields, as well as breast cancer patients. The functions of the steering committee are:
- To advise on types of data and how the data should be collected
- To provide advice and guidance, and oversee the implementation of the HKBCR
- To formulate strategies for promoting the HKBCR to the public and healthcare professionals
- To give direction on patients’ and healthcare professionals’ recruitment and participation
- To direct data compilation and analytical output, and advise on continuous improvement of the HKBCR
