Co-payment Breast Screening Programme (Jockey Club Holistic Breast Health Project)
According to latest figures published by Hong Kong Cancer Registry, on average, about 13 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every day. Over 80% diagnosed women aged 40 or above. The older you get, the higher is the chance of having breast cancer.
Early detection saves lives. The HKBCF is much honored to receive support of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust in launching a 3-year Co-payment Mammography Screening Programme under the Holistic Breast Health Project. With effect from 1 May 2021, eligible applicants need to pay HK$525 only to undertake 2D mammography screening：
Eligibility Criteria:
- Women 40 years old or above, and
- HKID card holder, and
- Women at high risk or with early symptoms of breast cancer (click to view), and
- Satisfy the below tabulated income limits:
